Bengt joined Altor in October 2004.
Bengt was previously a Manager at The Boston Consulting Group. During over 9 years with BCG,
Bengt was stationed in the Stockholm and Chicago offices and served clients within strategy,
M&A, performance improvement and change management. He is a Swedish national and holds a MSc in
Economics and Business Administration from The Stockholm School of Economics. While at SSE, he was
awarded the Wallenberg scholarship to The Graduate School of Business at the University of
Chicago.
Bengt is a member of the board of Piab, Meyn, Papyrus and Åkers.
Claes Ekström joined Altor in June 2007.
Claes has previously worked for 23 years at McKinsey & Company, most recently as Senior
Director. Claes has a broad set of experiences, both in terms of serving clients in different
industries and with different functional challenges. He is a Swedish national and holds an MSc in
Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, a BA in Economics from the
University of Gothenburg and he has also studied Law at the University of Gothenburg.
Claes is the Chairman of the boards of NorthStar, Papyrus and Max Matthiessen
and member of the board of Orchid Orthopedic Solutions.
Fredrik has been with Altor since inception in 2003.
He has previously worked for ten years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as managing director
responsible for M&A and corporate finance in the Nordic region. Prior to that he worked in
private equity for Nordic Capital and also for Goldman Sachs in the UK. He is a Swedish national
and holds an MSc from the Stockholm School of Economics, where he was awarded a Wallenberg
scholarship to HEC in France.
Fredrik is a member of the boards of Ferrosan Medical Devices, Q-Matic, Åkers, Carnegie
and Apotek Hjärtat. Also, he was a board member of ACO Hud, Vatus, PaloDEx and Nimbus
until Altor’s exits.
Harald has been with Altor since inception in 2003.
Harald co-founded Altor in 2003. Harald was previously deputy CEO and co-founder of Industri Kapital. Prior to that he worked in the leveraged buyout group at First Boston and at Booz Allen Hamilton.
He is a Swedish national and holds a BSc (magna cum laude) from Brown University and an MBA (Baker Scholar) from Harvard University. Harald is a member of the boards of Lindorff, Dustin, NorthStar, Papyrus, Carnegie Investment Bank AB and Carnegie Asset Management A/S.
Hugo joined Altor in March 2004.
Hugo was previously a Director with McKinsey & Company. Over 13 years with McKinsey, he
served clients in Europe and North America on a wide range of issues, working out of the
Scandinavian and Chicago offices. During his last four years, Hugo led McKinsey’s office in Norway.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Hugo was the managing director of Lefac A/S, a Norwegian based leasing
and financing company. He is a Norwegian national and holds a Master of General Economics from the
Norwegian School of Management.
Hugo is the Chairman of the boards of Lindorff, Navico, Helly Hansen and
member of the board of Constructor and AGR.
Jesper joined Altor in May 2003.
Jesper previously worked for Industri Kapital as fund administration manager from 1996 to
2003 in Stockholm and London. Prior to that he worked with group financial reports at the head
office of retail company Coop in Sweden between 1995 and 1996. He is a Swedish national and holds a
B.Sc. (Econ.) in Business Administration and Economics, with advanced studies in Finance, from
Stockholm University and computer programming and systems analysis and design at College of
Creative Computer Science, Stockholm.
Reynir joined Altor in September 2003.
He came to Altor from the position as CEO of Ignis Photonyx, where he was until its listing
on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2003. Prior to this, he was Investment Director with Kistefos AS, a
Norwegian private equity company. Until 1999, Reynir was Engagement Manager with McKinsey, where he
also served as the project manager for the European Principal Investment Practice. He is a
Norwegian national and holds a BSc (Summa Cum Laude) from the Wharton School (UPenn) and MBA (Baker
Scholar) from Harvard Business School.
Reynir is the Chairman of the board of Norsk Gjenvinning and ELIXIA. He is
also member of the board of AGR, Navico and Helly Hansen. He was previously a
member of the boards of Constructor, Lindorff, Byggmax and SPT.
Stefan joined Altor in 2004.
Stefan previously worked for seven years at Industri Kapital, responsible for private equity
investments in Sweden and Finland. Prior to that, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of
Morgan Stanley in London. He is a Swedish national and holds a MSc in Economics and Business
Administration from Stockholm School of Economics, where he was awarded a scholarship to the MBA
program of Stern School of Business, New York University.
Stefan is the Chairman of the board of Euro Cater, the Deputy Chairman of the boards of
Byggmax and Dustin, and a member of the board of Apotek Hjärtat and CTEK.
Søren joined Altor in August 2011.
Søren previously worked for Kromann Reumert for 22 years, in the past four years as Managing Partner. He is a citizen of Denmark and holds a M.Sc. in Law from The University of Copenhagen (LL.B) and executive education from INSEAD. He is a board member of Wrist Group, Sonion and Haarslev.
Anders joined Altor in December 2008.
Anders previously worked with Acquisition Finance at SEB in Stockholm, a department he co-founded in 1996. In his 13 years at SEB, Anders gained specialist experience in LBO and mezzanine transactions across the Nordic regions as well as thorough knowledge of debt capital markets. He has worked with Handelsbanken in New York and Stockholm, Carnegie in Stockholm and at SEB’s London and Stockholm offices. Anders is a Swedish national and is a graduate from Stockholm School of Economics. He also holds an MBA from University of Massachusetts.
Pia joined Altor in March 2011.
Pia has previously worked nine years at Gambro, most recently in the Senior Management Team as SVP of the Program & Strategy office. Earlier positions include Head of Investor Relations, Business development, Communication, and Strategic alignment. 1998-2001 Pia was responsible for Investor Relation at ABB AB, that later was merged into ABB Ltd and prior to that; 1995-1998 she was the President of The Swedish Young Shareholders Organization. She is a Swedish national and holds a B.Sc. (Econ.) from the School of Economics and Business Administration, Gothenburg.
Omid joined Altor in August 2008.
Omid has previously worked 6 years at Ratos with portfolio company reporting and financial monitoring. Prior to that Omid worked 1 year at Alfred Berg Asset Management within the finance department. He is a Swedish national and holds a B.Sc. (Econ.) from Lund’s University. Omid is national certified financial analyst (GFA) from the Swedish Financial Analyst Association (SFF).
Andreas joined Altor in October 2006.
Andreas was previously with 3i where he was a Director in its European buy-out group, most
recently in the healthcare team in London. Prior to that he was with BCG for five years stationed
in Stockholm and New York. He is a Swedish national and holds an MSc in engineering physics from
the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MSc. from the Stockholm School of
Economics.
Andreas is a member of the boards of Qmatic and NorthStar and part of the Wrist
Group deal team.

Klas joined Altor in October 2004.
Klas previously worked for McKinsey & Company focusing on strategy development, mainly
for industrial and consumer goods companies. He is a Swedish national and holds an MSc from the
Stockholm School of Economics.

Magnus joined Altor in February 2009.
Magnus was previously a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group. During 4.5 years with BCG, Magnus served clients within strategy, operations, and change management. He is a Swedish national and holds an MSc in Engineering and Business Management from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). Magnus is a member of the board of Orchid Orthopedic Solutions.
Maria joined Altor in April 2007.
Maria previously worked for Morgan Stanley in the Capital Markets Division focusing on
financial institutions and then in the Investment Banking Division focusing on M&A
advisory. She is a Norwegian national and holds an MSc from BI Norwegian School of
Management.
Maria is a member of the board of AGR and a deputy board member of SPT Group. Maria is
also part of the Constructor and Norsk Gjenvinning deal team.
Peter joined Altor in November 2009.
Peter previously worked at McKinsey & Company and served clients across Scandinavia, Central
Europe and North America. The focus of Peter's work was on strategy and corporate finance as well
as on operational and commercial transformations. Prior to McKinsey, he was with Citibank Corporate
Finance in London.
Peter is a citizen of Denmark and USA and holds an MSc in Financial Economics.
Petter joined Altor in January 2006.
He is a Swedish national and holds an MSc in Engineering and Business Management from the Royal
Institute of Technology (KTH) and a BA in Business Administration from Stockholm University School
of Business. He was previously with Deutsche Bank in London where he worked within leveraged
finance and with corporate finance advisory for financial institutions.
Petter is part of the Dustin, Papyrus, Wrist Group and Carnegie deal teams.
Pål joined Altor in September 2007.
Pål was previously an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company, focusing on Private
Equity, M&A, and strategy. Prior to joining McKinsey, Pål was an Associate with Danske
Securities Corporate Finance. He is a Norwegian national and holds an MSc (Sivilingeniør) in
physics and mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Pål is a member of the board of Constructor and Norsk Gjenvinning. Pål is also part of the
AGR and Norsk Gjenvinning deal team.
Risto joined Altor in September 2008.
Risto previously worked at HKScan Oyj where he was Senior Vice President, Corporate
Development. Prior to HKScan he worked for 5 years at Permira in London and Stockholm, focusing on
private equity investments in the Nordic region and in the technology and telecom sectors. He is a
Finnish national and holds a MSc in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics.
Risto is a member of the board of ONE, a deputy member of the board of Max Matthiessen
and is part of the Carnegie deal team.
Thomas has been with Altor since 2007.
Previously Thomas worked for Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division, London and
New York, focusing on corporate finance advisory for the Media & Telecommunications industries.
He is a Danish national and holds an MSc from the Aarhus School of Business.
Thomas is part of the Ferrosan Medical Devices, Åkers and Sonion deal teams.
David joined Altor in September 2008.
David is a Danish national and holds a M.Sc. from the Copenhagen Business School. David previously worked for Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division in London, focusing on corporate finance advisory in the Energy & Utility industries.

Niko has been with Altor since 2007.
He is a Finnish national and holds a M.Sc. (Tech.) from Helsinki University of Technology and a
M.Sc. (Econ.) from Helsinki School of Economics. Niko previously worked for Merrill Lynch in London
in the Energy & Power Investment Banking team.
Niko is part of the Papyrus, Carnegie, Max Matthiessen and ELIXIA deal teams. He was
also a deputy member of the board of PaloDEx until Altor's exit.
Oskar joined Altor in October 2010.
Oskar previously worked for Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division focusing on corporate finance advisory in the European Healthcare sector. He is a Swedish national and holds an MSc from the Stockholm School of Economics.
